Our work aims to support local people to live well with dementia, helping them remain independent for longer. We do this by providing information about the services available locally and across the city for people and their carers. Dementia Advice Service

The Dementia Advice Service provides information to people who are newly diagnosed with Dementia in the area. Everyone will receive a phone call from our team letting them know about support available for themselves and their carers.

Regular Activities

We offer a range of activities across the area every month. Our social cafes and friendship lunches provide an opportunity for people living with Dementia and their carers to come together in a friendly space to spend time together, support each other, and get information and advice from our team.

Learning and Training

We work in partnership with local organisations and practitioners to offer the Dementia STARS programme and dementia carer workshop, relax, relate, restore workshop for carers, workshops on stress management and anxiety as well as talks around nutrition and lifestyle for people living with dementia and their carers.
